Jicki is a vibrant team of language enthusiasts and creative minds. We love exciting stories, enjoy traveling, and always look forward to discovering and trying out new things.

Use Jicki to learn German any time and at your own pace. The 20-minute chapters are easily integrated into your daily routine: It’s easy to pick up the language while you’re cooking, out for a walk, or on the way to work.

To get the best results, we recommend that you regularly relisten to individual chapters. Many listeners have found it helpful to start with an old chapter followed by a new one.

For an optimum learning experience, it can also help to listen at different times – relaxing on the sofa, while doing something else like cooking, or fully focused with the companion book.

All of the Audio Showers are accompanied by calming background music that helps you feel relaxed and able to absorb more information. This process follows the principles of suggestopedia – a teaching method developed by Dr. Georgi Lozanov based on your learning environment having a positive effect on how effectively you learn.

This includes: classical music, rhythmic speaking, and a pleasant tone.

We’ve incorporated all of that into our Audio Showers for the best possible results.

For all Audio Showers, you can choose between classical or modern music.

You can adjust the music volume or turn it off completely. To do this, open the Player and go to the “Music” tab.

You can learn about the written language and grammar in the digital companion books.

Find the companion books directly in the Player of each lesson in the app – just click on “PDF.” But the main focus of our Audio Showers is developing conversation skills, which of course also involves picking up grammatical structures. However, this is an intuitive process as learning vocabulary in context gradually helps you remember how to form grammatically correct sentences.

Just download the free app and then select the Premium option in the settings.

You can cancel your subscription up to 24 hours before renewal via through your App Store. Here’s how you do it:

On the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

• Go to “Settings” “ -> “[Your Name]“ -> ‘iTunes & App Store“.
• Tap your Apple ID near the top of the screen.
• Tap “Show Apple ID.”. You may need to complete authentication for your Apple ID.
• Tap “Subscriptions’.”
• Tap the subscription you want to manage.
• Cancel the subscription.

• Tap the menu symbol -> “Account” -> “Subscriptions.”
• Look for the subscription you want to cancel.
